Entry-Level Network and Systems Administrator

As an Entry-Level Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's network and systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all network devices, servers, and applications. This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1700 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
- Maintain server infrastructure including installation of software updates and security patches
- Monitor system backups to ensure data is properly protected
- Assist with user support tickets related to network or system issues
- Implement security measures to protect company data from cyber threats
- Collaborate with IT team on projects involving network or system upgrades or changes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience in networking or systems administration is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment
- Knowledge of Windows server operating systems
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Must be able to work on-site in Alta without accommodation
