Job Title: Front-End Web Developer

We are hiring a Front-End Web Developer to join our growing team in Alta, Norway. As a Front-End Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating, designing, and implementing user-facing features on our website. Your primary focus will be developing high-quality, responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design mock-ups into working prototypes and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Responsibilities:

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with designers to implement effective user interfaces
- Translate design mock-ups and wireframes into working prototypes
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers
- Conduct website testing and continuously improve website performance
- Keep up-to-date with emerging front-end development technologies and best practices

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient understanding of web markup languages such as HTML5 and CSS3
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript libraries such as jQuery or ReactJS
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as SASS or LESS
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
