Data Analyst in Alta, Norway


As a Data Analyst in our company, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions. This is a full-time position located in Alta, Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and clean large sets of data from various sources
- Analyze data using statistical methods and tools
- Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through visualizations and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions
- Continuously monitor data quality and ensure accuracy of results

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, or R
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. MySQL)
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience with machine learning techniques (e.g. regression, classification)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or C++
- Experience working in Agile environments

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is located in Alta, Norway. However, we also offer the flexibility for remote work.
