JAVA Developer



We are hiring a skilled JAVA Developer to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software applications and systems. You must have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience with popular JAVA frameworks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in JAVA development and be proficient in Java EE, Spring, and Hibernate. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates. A biometric passport is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and testing high-quality software applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements
- Troubleshooting and debugging code to ensure optimal performance
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Implementing new features and enhancements to existing software
- Ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in JAVA development
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with popular JAVA frameworks such as Java EE, Spring, and Hibernate
- Proficiency in SQL databases such as MySQL or Oracle
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
