QA Engineer - Contract Position (Alta, Norway)



We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through various testing methods. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality
- Identify and report defects and issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with software developers to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, plans, and reports
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java or Python
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Alta, Norway
