Unity Developer
As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and interactive games and applications using the Unity game engine. You will collaborate with a team of artists, designers, and programmers to create high-quality products that meet client requirements. You must have a strong understanding of game development principles, as well as experience with C# programming and the Unity game engine. The ideal candidate will also have experience with 2D/3D graphics, animation, physics simulation, and user interface design. Your responsibilities will include writing efficient and maintainable code, implementing game mechanics and features, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance for different platforms. You must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, and be able to meet deadlines. This position is based in Alta, Norway but remote work from other locations may be considered.
Salary: $1700 per month
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Unity game development
- Strong understanding of game design principles
- Proficient in C# programming language
- Experience with the Unity game engine
- Knowledge of 2D/3D graphics, animation, physics simulation, and user interface design
- Ability to write clean and efficient code
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting technical issues
- Familiarity with optimization techniques for different platforms
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) development
- Familiarity with mobile platform development (Android/iOS)
- Experience developing multi-platform games or applications
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or C++
