Data-mining Analyst

We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Data-mining Analyst to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Data-mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data mining software.

Responsibilities:
- Collect data from various sources such as databases, websites, and social media platforms
- Organize and clean data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Use data mining techniques to identify patterns and trends
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for business strategies
- Create visualizations of data findings using charts, graphs, and other methods
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective data mining strategies
- Continuously monitor and update data sets as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in data mining or analysis using software such as SQL or Python
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS or SAS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and interpret large sets of complex data
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex information in a clear manner
- Knowledge of database management systems
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
