Data Analytics Associate


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analytics Associate to join our growing team in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data and providing insights and recommendations to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large sets of data using various tools and techniques
- Develop reports and dashboards to visualize data trends and patterns
- Identify key business metrics and KPIs to track performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights
- Use statistical methods to identify correlations and patterns in data
- Communicate findings and recommendations through presentations or written reports

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a data analytics role
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate complex datasets
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner
