Typesetter (Contract) - Alta, Norway


We are in need of a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a contract basis in Alta, Norway. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting text and images in various documents and publications. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to specific guidelines and templates
- Proofread documents for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to typesetting software or equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and printing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent in English (Norwegian proficiency is a plus)
