Job Title: Tiler - Alta, Norway

As a Tiler in Alta, Norway, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tile in residential and commercial settings. This includes measuring and cutting tiles to fit specific spaces, preparing surfaces for tiling, mixing and applying adhesives, and grouting and sealing completed projects. You may also be required to remove old tiles and repair any damaged surfaces before beginning new installations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of tile materials such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, and mosaic. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and good hand-eye coordination are essential for success in this role. You must also be able to read blueprints and follow design plans accurately. This is a physically demanding job that requires standing for extended periods of time and lifting heavy materials. Familiarity with safety procedures and tools such as tile cutters, trowels, levels, and power tools is necessary to ensure a safe work environment. A team-oriented attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with clients are also important qualities for this position.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, installing, and repairing various types of tile
- Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans accurately
- Familiarity with safety procedures and tools used in tiling
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Good hand-eye coordination for precise cutting and placement of tiles
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finished projects
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients

Responsibilities:
- Measure spaces accurately to determine the amount of tile needed
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning or leveling them before tiling
- Cut tiles using manual or power tools according to design plans
- Mix and apply adhesives to secure tiles in place
- Grout and seal completed projects for a finished look
- Remove old tiles and repair damaged surfaces before beginning new installations
- Communicate with clients to understand their design preferences and provide recommendations
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately

Salary: $1300 per month, without accommodation
