Plasterboard Worker - Alta, Norway



We are seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls and ceilings in various residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specific project requirements
- Install plasterboard onto walls and ceilings using various techniques and tools
- Repair damaged or uneven surfaces before applying plasterboard
- Smooth out seams and joints using joint compound or plaster
- Apply coats of primer, paint, or other finishes as needed
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and meets safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Plasterboard Worker
- Proficient in reading blueprints and following technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different types of plasterboards, their properties, and best uses for each type
- Excellent measuring, cutting, and installation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluent in English with good communication skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this contract job. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.
