Civil Engineer



We are hiring a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects. Your main duties will include conducting site investigations, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations to gather information for project planning and design
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
- Develop construction plans and specifications according to project requirements
- Oversee the progress of construction projects and ensure they are completed on schedule
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Monitor compliance with building codes and regulations
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints and other topographical or geologic data
- Make necessary adjustments to designs in response to changing project needs or environmental conditions
- Manage project budgets and make cost-effective recommendations for materials and equipment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Civil Engineer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month without accommodation. However, we do offer competitive compensation packages based on experience.
