Industrial Alpinist



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at heights and in difficult-to-reach areas, such as building maintenance, construction, and repairs. Your work will require advanced rope access techniques and a strong understanding of safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

- Perform industrial rope access tasks at various heights, often in challenging weather conditions
- Conduct building maintenance and repairs, such as painting, cleaning, and window washing
- Assist with construction projects by installing equipment and materials at elevated levels
- Conduct inspections of buildings and structures to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs
- Work with a team to ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Use specialized equipment and tools to complete tasks at heights

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Alpinist or in a similar role
- Certification in industrial rope access techniques (IRATA or SPRAT)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights
- Ability to work in challenging weather conditions and at various heights with ease
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials while suspended on ropes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Valid work visa for Norway (or ability to obtain one)

Salary:

The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
