Metal Worker


We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products according to specifications. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and machinery.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using templates, measuring tools, or scribes
- Cut, shape, and bend metal sheets using hand tools or machinery such as shears, presses, or drills
- Join metal parts together by welding, bolting, riveting or soldering
- Grind, sand, or polish surfaces using hand tools or power tools
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials when necessary

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Metal Worker or in a similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled in operating various hand tools and machinery such as shears, presses, drills, welders etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Biometric passport (preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in Norway without accommodation

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Alta, Norway. Applicants must be willing to relocate if not already living in the area.
