Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duties will include safely maneuvering the equipment to complete construction projects, performing routine maintenance and inspections, and following all safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
- Conduct pre-operational checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
- Safely maneuver equipment to complete tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials
- Follow blueprints or instructions from supervisors to accurately complete projects
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean work area at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or similar role is preferred but not required
- Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or instructions
- Familiarity with basic maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license is required
