Heavy Equipment Operator in Alta, Canada


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Alta, Canada. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other machinery used for construction or mining activities.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow blueprints or instructions to excavate, grade, level or move materials as needed
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment before use
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work activities
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for long periods of time
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
