Solar Installer

As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar panel systems for residential and commercial properties in Alta. You will be responsible for setting up and connecting solar panels, wiring inverters, and ensuring that all components are working efficiently. This physically demanding role requires excellent technical skills and the ability to work at heights. You will work alongside a team of experienced installers to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on rooftops or other designated areas according to technical drawings
- Connect panels to electrical wiring systems
- Mount inverters, racking systems, and other equipment necessary for the operation of solar panels
- Ensure all connections are secure and functioning properly
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise during installation or maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal performance of installed solar systems
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, time spent on projects, and completed installations
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations while working at heights

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Solar Installer or similar role is preferred
- Strong technical skills with knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Physically fit with the ability to climb ladders and work at heights for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in solar panel installation
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Attention to detail and commitment to completing projects on time with high quality standards
Salary:
$1700 per month + accommodation
