Architectural Technologist


We are seeking an experienced and qualified Architectural Technologist to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting architects in the design and construction of buildings, ensuring that they meet all legal and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects to develop building plans and designs
- Create detailed drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions
- Ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations
- Review project plans for accuracy, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness
- Assist with project management tasks such as budgeting and scheduling
- Research new materials, methods, and technologies to improve the design process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architectural technology or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in architectural technology
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects
- Familiarity with sustainability principles in design
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project demands

Salary: 1500$ per month
Location: Alta, Norway (accommodation provided)
