Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our team in Alta, Canada. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of architectural projects, ensuring they meet building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as excellent technical skills and proficiency in CAD software. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with architects and engineers to develop detailed architectural drawings and plans
- Conduct site visits to gather information and measurements for projects
- Assist in producing proposals, estimates, and project timelines
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Research new materials and construction methods to improve project efficiency and sustainability
- Collaborate with contractors and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Review project specifications for accuracy and completeness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or Revit) is required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
