Excavator Operator

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move materials such as soil, rock, and debris. Your responsibilities will include completing excavation projects safely and efficiently, maintaining equipment, and adhering to all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of excavators and possess excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per week, including accommodation. Applicants must have their own visa for working in Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of excavators to dig trenches, grade surfaces, and move materials
- Read and interpret project plans to determine the best approach for excavation
- Communicate with other team members to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- At least 2 years of experience operating excavators
- Knowledge of excavation techniques and equipment maintenance
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must have own visa for working in Norway
