We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Alta, Canada. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to dig trenches, holes, and foundations. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators and other heavy construction equipment according to safety protocols and manufacturer instructions
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with ground crew and co-workers
- Dig trenches, holes, and foundations using excavators and other related machinery
- Load and unload materials from trucks using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment such as lubricating, fueling, or replacing parts as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction environment is required
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of excavation techniques and safe operation of heavy machinery is a must
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans is preferred
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labor if needed
