Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the financial management and reporting of our company. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial records. Your main duties will include preparing and maintaining financial documents, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare tax documents as needed
- Support the Senior Accountant in various tasks as required

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1+ years of experience in an accounting role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Location: Alta, Norway (Preference for local candidates)
Salary: $1200 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
