We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a part-time accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections
- Provide financial analysis to support business decisions
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
