Senior Accountant - Alta, Norway

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of our company. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This is a contract position based in Alta, Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and other financial records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Assist with budget planning and forecasting
- Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
- Experience using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Strong communication skills

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Location:
This job is based in Alta, Norway.
