As a Cashier in our busy retail store in Alta, Norway, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately and efficiently handling cash and card transactions. Your main duties will include operating the cash register, processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

To be successful in this role, you must have a biometric passport and be legally eligible to work in Norway. Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail are also essential as you will be handling large amounts of money on a daily basis.

In addition to your cash handling responsibilities, you may also be required to assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and answering customer inquiries. Therefore, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are important qualities for this position.

As our store operates seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, flexibility with working hours is necessary. The starting salary for this position is 1400$ per month with potential for growth within the company.
