Floral Designer


We are a busy and thriving floral design company based in Alta, Norway and we are seeking a creative and experienced Floral Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. Our ideal candidate is passionate about flowers and has a keen eye for design, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and create custom floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, parties, and corporate events
- Source and select high-quality flowers from local suppliers
- Maintain inventory of floral supplies and ensure adequate stock levels
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for their special event
- Set up and decorate event venues with floral arrangements according to client specifications
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and requests
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in floral design and incorporate them into work

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Floral Designer or similar role is required
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage as well as their care requirements
- Excellent design skills with an eye for color, texture, balance, and proportion
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting under tight deadlines
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (such as flower buckets) and stand for long periods of time

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month. Accommodation can be provided if needed.

This job is suitable for individuals who are already located in Alta or are willing to relocate on their own. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
