Restaurant Manager at a Fine Dining Establishment in Alta, Norway
As a Restaurant Manager at our upscale fine dining establishment in Alta, Norway, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual with a biometric passport who can provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and budgeting
- Train and mentor staff to deliver excellent customer service and uphold our fine dining standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the chef to create seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize occupancy
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fine dining establishment
- Proven track record of successful staff management and customer service
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Biometric passport is required for international travel purposes
- Preference for candidates with accommodation options or willing to relocate to Alta, Norway
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1600$ per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
