Head Chef


We are in search of a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Alta, Norway. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating menus and dishes, and managing the kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and creativity, as well as strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are both creative and profitable
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced
- Order and maintain inventory of food supplies while keeping within budget
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on budget planning and cost control measures
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating new dishes
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and recipes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position. Salary may vary based on experience.

Location:
This position is located in Alta, Norway. However, we welcome candidates from any nationality who are willing to relocate.
