Instrument Technician - Contract Position (Alta, Canada)



We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Alta, Canada. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems used in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain various instruments and control systems such as pressure gauges, flow meters, level sensors, and temperature probes.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with instrumentation systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of instruments.
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in industrial settings.
- Familiarity with electrical and pneumatic control systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per week.
