Part-Time Biometric Passport Instrument Technician in Alta, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrument Technician to join our team at the Biometric Passport Office in Alta, Norway. As a part-time technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the biometric passport equipment used for processing applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on biometric passport equipment such as scanners, printers, and software systems
- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or issues with the equipment
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly before each workday
- Communicate with management about any potential issues or concerns with the equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of electronic systems and experience with troubleshooting and repairing technical equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
This part-time position offers a competitive salary of 900$ per month.

Location:
This job is located at our Biometric Passport Office in Alta, Norway. Preference will be given to candidates who are already residing in the area.
