Radio Technician - Alta, Norway


We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment for various communication systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and familiarity with different types of radio technology.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio equipment according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of radio systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with radio equipment and networks
- Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment inventory
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient functioning of communication systems
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Prior experience working with radio equipment is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of electronic principles and circuitry
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good physical condition as the job may require climbing ladders or working in confined spaces

Salary:
Starting salary is $900 per month, commensurate with experience.

Location:
This is a full-time position located in Alta, Norway. Candidates must already have the right to live and work in Norway.
