Radio Technician



As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining radio equipment and systems. You will work with a team of technicians to ensure that radio communication systems are functioning properly. This is a contract job located in Alta, Norway with a salary of 1200$. Accommodation will not be provided but visa sponsorship will be offered if needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in radio technology, with knowledge of various types of radios and their components. You should also possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair various types of radios including VHF, UHF and HF radios.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with radio systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on radio equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate repair work.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Radio Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of VHF, UHF and HF radios.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
