Job Title: Radio Technician


We are hiring a skilled Radio Technician to join our team at the Alta Radio Station. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing radio equipment, ensuring smooth operation of all radio systems, and providing technical support to our staff.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on all radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and recording devices
- Troubleshoot and repair any technical issues with equipment in a timely manner
- Install new equipment and perform upgrades as needed
- Monitor radio transmissions and make adjustments to ensure high quality audio output
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed on radio equipment
- Provide technical support to staff members using radio equipment
- Stay updated on industry advancements and make recommendations for new equipment or upgrades

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of radio equipment and systems
- Familiarity with various broadcasting software programs
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1400 per month
Location: Alta, Norway
