Entry-Level Crane Operator


We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Crane Operator in Alta, Canada. As a crane operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects. This is a great opportunity for someone without experience or a student looking for part-time work.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes such as tower, mobile, overhead, or boom trucks
- Inspect equipment before use and ensure it is in safe working condition
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Communicate with ground crew to determine load weights and positioning
- Maneuver crane into position using hand signals or radio communication
- Lift, move, and position heavy objects according to project specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Strong spatial awareness and depth perception
- Knowledge of basic math skills for calculating load weights
- Valid crane operator certification preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month. We also offer opportunities for on-the-job training and career advancement within our company.

This position is located in Alta, Canada. Preference may be given to Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
