Job Title: Welder - Contract Position in Alta, Canada


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team on a contract basis in Alta, Canada. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts using high heat and specialized tools to create strong and durable structures. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1400 per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, templates, or other measuring devices
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently to perform various types of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
- Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Welder in a similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Ability to operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be willing to work on a contract basis
