We are in need of a skilled Welder to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join metal parts together using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Your primary goal will be to ensure high-quality welds and structural integrity in all projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans to determine welding requirements
- Measure and mark workpieces for proper assembly
- Operate various welding machines and tools according to safety regulations
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing contaminants
- Conduct inspections of welded surfaces to identify defects and make necessary repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans
- Strong knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations
- Physical endurance to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity

Preferred Skills:
- Certification in welding from a recognized institution or apprenticeship program
- Experience with biometric passport production is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
