A reputable construction company in Alta is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis. We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per week for this position with the potential for overtime pay. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components based on blueprints and specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical strength, and technical expertise in welding techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and materials needed for projects
- Cut, shape, and weld metal components using various tools such as welding torches, plasma cutters, and grinders
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with welded components
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder in a construction or manufacturing setting
- Excellent knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately
- Physical strength to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in welding tasks
- Valid work visa (if required) and own transportation to job sites
