Pastry Chef - Alta, Norway
We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Alta, Norway. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our guests. Your role will also involve managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to restaurant standards
- Develop new menu items that showcase your creativity and culinary skills
- Ensure timely delivery of desserts for service
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and procedures
- Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- A passion for creating delicious desserts using quality ingredients
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for presentation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position.
