Merchandiser - Alta, Norway



This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser to join our dynamic team in Alta, Norway. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing product displays and promotions to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and meet company goals
- Create attractive displays that showcase products in an appealing way
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan promotions and special events
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for stock replenishment
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make adjustments to merchandising strategies
- Conduct store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards
- Train store staff on proper merchandising techniques and product knowledge
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms for new products or promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Contract job:
This is a full-time contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Location:
This position is based in Alta, Norway. However, occasional travel to other stores or trade shows may be required.
