Contract Land Surveyor in Alta, Canada


We are hiring a Contract Land Surveyor to join our team in Alta, Canada. As a Contract Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for measuring and mapping the land and providing accurate data for construction projects. This is a contract position and does not require prior experience.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to determine boundaries, locations, and elevation of land
- Use specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, robotic total stations, and terrestrial scanners to collect data
- Analyze survey data and create maps, plans, and reports
- Communicate with project managers and engineers to ensure accuracy of data
- Adhere to all safety procedures while working on site
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and equipment used

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field
- Valid land surveyor license in Canada
- Proficient in using surveying software and equipment
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
