Student Gardener

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking student gardener to join our team in maintaining and beautifying the outdoor spaces of our company. As a student gardener, you will be responsible for assisting in planting, pruning, weeding, and general upkeep of the gardens and grounds. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in horticulture or landscaping to gain hands-on experience while earning some extra income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planting and maintaining flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants.
- Weed and maintain garden beds.
- Prune trees and shrubs as needed.
- Water plants regularly.
- Assist in maintaining lawn areas including mowing and edging.
- Clean up leaves and debris from garden areas.
- Help with the installation of new garden features such as paths or fences.
- Follow all safety protocols when using gardening equipment.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a student in a related field (horticulture, landscaping, etc.).
- Previous experience working as a gardener or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques, tools, and equipment is an asset.
Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1100$ per month for approximately 15 hours of work per week. Working hours can be flexible based on your class schedule.
Location:
This position is located in Alta, Norway. However, due to our remote location outside the city center, access to reliable transportation is essential.
