Loader Operator - Alta, Canada



We are currently hiring for a Loader Operator to join our team in Alta, Canada. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load materials onto trucks or into processing areas. This is a contract job with the option for accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Operate loader efficiently and safely according to company standards
- Load materials onto trucks or into designated areas
- Complete pre-trip inspections and report any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery, specifically loaders
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations for operating heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and withstand outdoor work conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a construction or industrial setting
- Familiarity with basic maintenance of loaders and other heavy equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid certification in loader operation
