Office Manager - Alta, Norway
We are hiring an experienced and organized Office Manager to join our team in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of administrative tasks, and providing support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all office activities including managing schedules, organizing meetings and events, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Manage office supplies inventory and ordering process to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Maintain office budget by tracking expenses and preparing reports.
- Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance of office equipment and services.
- Assist with recruitment processes by scheduling interviews, maintaining candidate database, and coordinating onboarding for new hires.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure efficient functioning of the office.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries or concerns.
- Plan company events such as team building activities, holiday parties, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative or office management role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English. Knowledge of Norwegian is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with budgets is preferred.
