Interpreter/Translator - Monte-Carlo, Monaco


We are in need of a skilled Interpreter/Translator to join our team in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. As an Interpreter/Translator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between two or more languages. Our ideal candidate should have excellent communication and language skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between individuals or groups who speak different languages.
- Listen carefully to speakers and accurately relay messages to ensure understanding.
- Translate written documents from one language to another.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and understanding during interpretation services.
- Handle multiple tasks such as note-taking, summarizing, and interpreting technical terminology.
- Utilize specialized dictionaries and reference materials for accuracy during translation.
- Stay up-to-date with new terminology in various languages.

Requirements:
- Native speaker or fluent in at least two languages, including English.
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey meaning accurately and effectively.
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivities within various languages.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of specialized vocabulary used in fields such as legal, medical, or technical industries preferred.
- Proficient in using translation software and tools.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field is required.

Salary:
$1600 per month.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. Working hours may vary depending on the needs of the company.

Accommodation:
This position does not provide accommodation. Candidates must be able to secure their own housing in Monte-Carlo.
