Job Title: Typesetter



We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Monte-Carlo. As a Typesetter, you will play a crucial role in the production of printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers.

Responsibilities:
- Set type for various projects using computer software or traditional methods
- Edit and proofread text to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Format text and images according to design specifications
- Collaborate with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure high-quality output
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to typesetting software or equipment
- Follow established typographic rules and standards to maintain consistent style throughout projects
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, journalism, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or other typesetting software
- Strong knowledge of typography and layout principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text and design elements
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Salary:
$1300 per month (full-time)
