Executive Chef (Monte-Carlo, Monaco)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our prestigious restaurant in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and creating culinary masterpieces that will delight our guests. Your creativity and passion for food will inspire our team to consistently deliver exceptional dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and create new dishes that are innovative, appealing, and reflective of the restaurant's concept
- Manage the kitchen team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Control food costs by minimizing waste and implementing cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods and techniques
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (French proficiency is a plus)
