IT Support Specialist


We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in La-Condamine. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients by phone, email or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- Install and configure computer systems, software, and applications
- Maintain network infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical problems
- Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and fixes
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies in the IT industry

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role as an IT Support Specialist or Help Desk Technician
- Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, MacOS, Linux
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: La-Condamine (accommodation provided)
