Senior Database Administrator

As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases in La-Condamine. You will ensure data security, optimize database performance, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in database administration and a strong understanding of database management systems. You must also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. This full-time position does not include accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain databases
- Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth integration of databases with other systems
- Develop and maintain documentation for all database processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration
- Strong knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Experience with database design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
- Experience with cloud-based databases such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database

Salary: $1300 per month.

Location: La-Condamine.
