Database Administrator (Part-Time)


We are in search of a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our team in La-Condamine. As a Part-Time DBA, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Create and maintain database backup and recovery procedures
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database structures for new applications
- Regularly perform database maintenance tasks such as data purging and index rebuilding
- Keep abreast of industry updates, trends, and best practices for database management

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
