Part-time Interpreter in La-Condamine

We are in need of a part-time interpreter to join our team in La-Condamine. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This position does not include accommodation and is suitable for someone who is looking for a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and efficient interpretation services in person or via phone or video calls
- Ensure clear communication between parties by accurately conveying the meaning and tone of the original message
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality at all times
- Research terminology and familiarize yourself with specialized vocabulary to ensure accurate interpretation
- Assist with any necessary paperwork or documentation related to the interpretation services

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including French and English
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to different situations quickly
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required

Salary: $1400 per month (based on 20 hours per week)
